SMS / Text Messaging
Foundry sends strictly transactional, one-to-one SMS messages on behalf of contractors and service professionals to their own customers. Messages are limited to estimate and invoice links and one-time verification codes. No marketing, no promotions, no bulk sends. Consent is collected verbally by the contractor at the time of hire and recorded in an append-only audit log. Opt out at any time by replying STOP.
For the full SMS consent workflow, including the verbal consent script, confirmation message, opt-out mechanics, and data retention, see our SMS Policy.

Foundry offers an optional integration with Google Calendar so contractors and service professionals can keep their Google Calendar in sync with jobs scheduled in Foundry. When a user connects their Google account, Foundry requests only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope, which allows Foundry to create, update, and delete calendar events that correspond to Foundry jobs. Foundry does not request access to the user’s contacts, email, files, or other Google services.
Foundry’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs, including the Google Calendar API, will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Foundry does not use Google Workspace API data, whether raw or derived, to develop, train, or improve generalized or foundational AI or machine learning models. Specifically, with respect to data obtained through Google Workspace APIs:
Users may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Connected Apps section of their Foundry settings. On disconnection, Foundry revokes its stored Google OAuth tokens and stops accessing the user’s calendar. Disconnection does not automatically delete calendar events that Foundry previously created on the user’s calendar; users may delete those events directly in Google Calendar.
This section controls in the event of any conflict with other sections of this Privacy Policy as it relates to data obtained from Google Workspace APIs.
Foundry offers an optional integration with QuickBooks Online so contractors and service professionals can keep their books in sync with jobs, estimates, invoices, and payments managed in Foundry. When you connect Foundry to QuickBooks Online, we exchange customer, invoice, payment, and item data with your QuickBooks company solely for that purpose. We only read and write the data types described in our QuickBooks Online Integration disclosure, and we do not sell, share, or otherwise transfer QuickBooks data to third parties, or use it for advertising, profiling, or training generalized machine-learning models. You may disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations; on disconnection, Foundry revokes its OAuth tokens with Intuit and stops syncing.
For the full description of what QuickBooks data Foundry reads and writes, why, how long we retain it, and how to revoke access, see the QuickBooks Online Integration disclosure.
